[Music] cute that would look cute probably in your sun room cuz it’s you’re I’ll do it oh and look at these those are super cute too okay we’re at the coffee shop we’re going to get some coffee okay we both like the little Greenhouse as soon as we walked in the door you $7.99 though but you can see the coffee shop and this is downtown and then over here hi everyone welcome to Illinois in garden zone 5 uh I’m Michelle and we are on a thrifting plant shopping coffee day today but this is going to be a special day because I am meeting my mom Karen and my sister Brenda in gilburg Illinois to shop now um they do like to Thrift too and they like plants also and they both drink coffee so we’re in for good afternoon today uh so we are here we just arrived in Galesburg our first stop I’m meeting them at Salvation Army which is a charity shop now I’ve not been to a Salvation Army for many years so we’ll have to check out and see what they have uh my sister did mention that they also have some um antique uh shops downtown and also some Consignment top type shops so and there’s also the little plant places to go to flower places uh garden centers so we’ll just have to see where we end up today uh but I think we’re going to have a fun day and I’m taking you along with me uh one note though okay this is the the housekeeping item because we used to get asked this and still do when we’re out my sister and I are not twins uh I am older I’m three years older than my sister but we do look a lot alike so when we go out in public together that’s one question that always comes up is are you two twins so we are not so just to give you a heads up so let’s get going and have a good day this is my sister Brenda that I was just telling you about doesn’t we look alike but we are not twins like I already mentioned there’s my mom Karen she does not want to be on camera so you probably won’t see her much on camera today Brenda’s going to be on camera camera though so I’ll do it okay so what are we looking for today guys uh Isabelle blooms Isabelle blooms okay yes this is the sister that is into Isabelle blooms actually she’s my only sister so she’s into Isabelle blooms so the chair is cute $7.99 so Brenda already found a cute little bench look at this little bench for what did you say $16.99 yeah yeah what could we do with that out in the garden it’s already garden green yeah that’s adorable yeah oh it doesn’t open it doesn’t open y That’s solid on there huh but it would be cute you’d have to take the material off to make it outside M and maybe put a cushion on it but put some potted plants on it would be cute too and I’m sure the cupboard down below could be fixed Y and there’s another little cart another kitchen cart we’ seen and a pretty lamp here’s 18 $18.99 for the cart and18 .99 for the lamp that’s not bad all okay here’s a cute little plant stand it’s very lightweight though so it would be a Tipper you $7.99 though but you can see how much it’s shaking but that’s a cute that could be repurposed and it could be sprayed any color okay this is cute too this would it already has little shutters and it’s a mirror and it’s green it has a place where it could set a ledge but that would be cute on a fence or out in the garden somewhere oh when it shuts look at that isn’t that adorable $1.99 okay and here is a pretty picture let’s move that that would be pretty with some flowers in it or just even Greenery like if you took some clippings from a tree or a shrub and put some Greenery in it um do I see a price $10.99 yeah but I thought that was cute too $3.99 for that but I was at an antique store and they use something like that and they put business cards in it oh that was smart and laid them up in it so I thought that was a cute idea yeah candy dish or a candy dish yep okay and this container is this lighting is not very good in here uh ceramic and it’s got you take the bow off $4.99 that’s really cute and that would make a cute let’s put it down here that would make a cute little planter for a potted plant or you could also put something down inside of it to hold fresh flowers that would be pretty too and I would take the bow off and change it out you wouldn’t even need a bow but you could decorate it up okay guys I like this mirror and it’s I think it’s $4.99 but it’s from Hobby Lobby and I remember and they may still even carry it I remember them carrying it a few years ago and I really liked it then but didn’t want to pay that price but I think this would look really cute out on the fence and as I’m showing it to my sister she likes it too but she said she had one almost just like this and she got rid of it had I known I would have taken it okay these pictures are kind of cute too and I apologize for the lighting the lighting is pretty awful in here um grow courageously think positively be happy and live spontaneously $5.99 each and here’s another pretty picture like that too 6 $6.99 for that one and they did have some other mirrors too but I like more ornate mirrors so but they have a pretty good selection this is like a little tea kettle oh cute that’s pretty cute yeah $4.99 49 they already have their fall stuff out yeah and Christmas is coming Christmas and July right well that’s fall yeah they’re Christmas oh oh all the Christmas stuff is done on this end yeah this is cute stuff I like this you like the welcome sign uhhuh that’s pumpkin you can put that out on your fence how much is it 3.99 3.99 that looks like a balloon it does look like it is B balloon and it’s actually 50% off it’s the green color oh okay but it’s I know I didn’t know they did that so if the tag is green oh this ISS blue blue oh yeah I think she said green okay if it’s green it’s 50% off okay and this is cute it was in with the Christmas stuff I don’t think it’s Christmas though $5.99 and it has ivy on it and it has that metal frame that could be repurposed into something really cute and then that little tree next to it that little Christmas tree for $4.99 that’s a nice size to tuck in somewhere mom’s looking at everything but she already told us she doesn’t want anything today that she doesn’t need any stuff she’s clearing out so we’re looking for her instead yeah I like I like anything with color it’s cute that would look cute probably in your sun room cuz it’s your sun room’s those colors blue yep and sit it there you could put a plant on it a plant stand y put it on top of a little in table and put a plant on it how much is it 5.99 5.99 I think you should get it nope she’s putting it back okay so this would be cute I I think I’m going to go ahead and get this because we could take this apart get rid of the ivy spray paint the oblisk and use the oblisk by itself out in the garden or even take it apart and put a plant in it and have the oblisk and I think that would be really cute so we’re on our way to a little plant place now I think it’s like a just a little Nursery isn’t it yep little tiny Nursery yeah but lots of really unique plants that we hadn’t seen at other places okay okay so we’re at the flower shop it’s a cute little building and then it’s got stuff out here along the side so let’s take a peek before we head inside oh it is set up really cute guys the little places and I guess there’s a place out there in the back there that’s a shed that you can bring your stuff and pot up your plants here on the I had oh I’ve had that I had that last year and it was really pretty I don’t know what that is though that purple flower um but I bought it at the French Market in a little um purse it was like a little basket planter that looked like a purse and it looked great all uh summer long I had to keep it watered but it didn’t have a tag as to what it is I like this container that’s a pretty container too one okay so this is called the garden station in gillsburg and it’s just a cute little indoor outdoor mostly a lot of outdoor but she has it set up super cute inside too look at all this stuff and my sister really likes the stone faces the Planters so so you want the one in the back with the plant in it that’s the one you really like Y and this one’s actually really cute too and it’s bigger so you could put more in it you could put more in it and the smaller they become the harder it is to find them okay so you want let’s take this one oh it’s planted she planted it but even that’s cute you know I don’t with something hanging over the other side that a cute one [Applause] too but but you want it inside you don’t want it for outside right yeah I do you want it for a house plant oh and they’ve got bumblebee ones those are cute too those Planters with the Bumblebees on them you see the lanterns and the mushrooms oh let’s go around the back now yeah they have it they have it displayed really nice here Oho big mushrooms and then the different lanterns she’s got a couple different sizes but they have all kinds of cute stuff oh and look at these those are super cute too with the little feet on them for $39.95 the little square uh window box size containers she’s got a pretty close there and some different markers plant markers and crayons plant labels the wooden steak plant labels that’s cute with the pencil $42.99 for the glass close Okay we both like the little Greenhouse as soon as we walked in the door that is super cute let’s see what the price is $250 but it is cute yeah the little wicker stuff and the bigger has the plant in it and it’s it’s it’s different material I don’t know what it is it’s they have them here behind us like this oh these are metal it’s not the same thing oh it’s not the same but that really cute you would hang that on a door yeah it’s got the little hook on it for $19.99 oh and a cute little wicker teacart and the wicker chairs she’s got some plastic earned so we’re just walking around guys and checking it all out oh I like that too the big end table and there’s a little cute potting wicker potting bench world’s best garden gloves Fox gloves grip so here’s that purple flower we were just talking about what is it endless illumination uhhuh it is very cute but you said you killed it huh yeah yeah I think it got either too much water part shade to shade yeah and that’s my backyard all shade okay so oh and this the white one is the same family it’s called endless flirtation it’s doing a lot better yeah it’s much bigger and then she’s got a bunch of proven winners hydrant for $37.95 it says oh and look at the hanging basket wow pretty hanging basket so this is panning around so I do like how she did her here at this Garden Center look how she put her tag like there’s the puffer fish and all the puffer fish hydrangeas are below and here and I didn’t see that before here’s the Pinky Winky tag and that’s where all the Pinky Winky hydrangeas are she does have Cityline Paris big leaf hydrangea and then over here we have a winecraft black down below candy corn double play Candy Corn blue chiffon Rose of Sharon and there’s the incredible ball which is like huge white pretty flowers so Brenda is more into house plants she does some outside stuff but she would prefer to do house plants so she has a pretty sun room and then she has lots of house plants so she zoned right over here to the succulents so what is it I don’t know but you like that huh yeah so do you have a lot of succulents already and S I do not I don’t I don’t have a lot of luck with succulents I have a couple pots of succulents mine are smaller ones um yeah these are these are just different I don’t think I’ve ever seen these in other places they’re usually you know the small traditional ones yeah she’s got some yeah she does have unique stuff here oh this looks like more okay so we have geraniums but it looks like house plants too and boy is it warm in here woo oh look at this furry Cactus oh my gosh more house plants there and over on this side then she’s got a cute little shed back here she’s got some grasses growing here to buy flocks lots of flocks got an citrus tree an orange that’s what you need for your sun room an orange tree they get beautiful ballooms on them in the winter still here oh do they and they are extremely fragrant and they have a lemon one there on the other side does it still it looks like it still even has blooms on it y it does really um but I think some I had a a lemon one but it had thorns on it too um yeah it has some a little bit of thorns but it gets really fragrant blooms on it there’s blooms but that would make a good sun room tree mhm for us because we can’t keep them alive in the winter oh cute all right so this is their potting station guys isn’t that cute so they have the faux fireplace they have a a table so you can bring your stuff out here and pot up your stuff they have the shovels and fertilizer they’ve taken old doors to close in the sides into the Garden area and stand here and you can pot up your own pot that’s super cute and lots of cat mint look at all the cat mint this is Kitten around cat mint and those bees on there they’re liking it she’s got some pretty butterfly bush oh there’s a Jasmine in a pot the angeloni I think is how you say that that looks angel face look how pretty that looks with all those whites and pinks and purples and Bloom and then here’s some proven winner super beina they have the peachy one I’ve not tried the peachy one and they have Pink Cashmere I tried Pink Cashmere last year and I’ve not tried this dark purple but I have the Violet ice that does wonderful and I have the white out that has done wonderful here’s some pretty Sun pretty sunflowers Veronica some more cat mint woo gra big be okay look at this this is pretty too ornamental or o that is super cute I don’t think I’ve ever seen that and it smells really good guys okay we’re at the coffee shop we’re going to get some coffee look at the cute earns on each side of the coffee shop let’s walk out here first I want to show you how cute it is and then I’ll show you inside but they’ve got it set up here around the corner the coffee shop and this is downtown so we’re downtown getting coffee and they’ve got a little bench there I really like those hers though those are really nice so let’s uh head in and check it out and you’re going to ask me the name and I don’t know what the name of it is uh inke Keepers up on the sign inke Keepers coffee so look at this oh and then they have baked goods too guys look at their baked goods oh and they have truffles oh yum the truffles look good and look at the turtles down at the bottom that must be their specialty the inkeeper turtles and then over here oh my gosh look at that cookie you guys peanut butter chocolate chip cookie cute cute building guys they have it set up very nice okay so I got a coffee and a truffle mom got a coffee and and Brenda got an ice coffee so we are enjoying it and there’s a gorgeous fireplace that it’s not running today cuz it’s like in the ’90s but we’re inside in the air having a coffee break all right guys so we’re back and we’re finishing up today so my sister got two little plants at the plant uh place she had one like this and really liked and it it didn’t make it so she got another one to replace it and then this one is for inside for for okay this is what I ended up purchasing today I did get the big mirror um for $4.99 I really do like that and I’ll try it out on the garden fence and if I don’t like it there I’ll use it somewhere else uh I did pick up a really pretty coffee mug that’s made out of China it has beautiful pink roses on it for $2.99 I’m always on the lookout for pretty coffee cups uh I did get the ornamental oregano which is very fragrant and has those pretty purple flowers on it at the plant store and then I did also purchase the oblisk planter for $5.99 so I’m going to repurpose that and that’s going to turn into a DIY I don’t know if I’m going to use it um with a different plant in it or if I’m going to take it apart and spray paint the oisk and use the oisk out in the garden it is a nice Metal finish and it does have some staks on it down in the pot so I think it’ll work nice for a little plant okay guys we are back I showed you our stuff that we got today we had a great time thanks for hanging out with us today and meeting my sister Brenda so you it was nice to meet
