I was nervous about making this one as I have 0 experience with carnivorous plants and only 1 terrarium under my belt (the mushroom forest post the other day) so I don't really know what I've doing.
Looks like it'll live though! I keep it with l it's ketal cookie jar lid on, to keep moisture in, but that obviously will keep bugs out. I think I'll find an ant or something and chuck him in there lol
When should I feed this Lil guy?

2.plants in build: drosera spatulata and 2 mosses from my yard
3.light source: South facing window, through glass with heavy condensation
4.water cycle: distilled water sprayed daily. Substrate is moist constantly
5.Substrate medium: leca for drainage, landscape fabric for barrier, 100% sphagnum moss for substrate
6.Enclosure size: 1 gallon cookie jar. Its an odd shape but allowed for relatively deep substrate to support drosera roots
I don’t know what you should feed the little fella but I just want to say how cool this looks. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
You can buy dried bloodworms in a little can at anywhere that sells fish food, then crush one of those up and sprinkle it on your sundew. Keep an eye out for mold, and ideally don’t put the lid back on until it’s done eating, to help prevent mold.
Really, you can leave the lid off entirely, and that might make lighting the terrarium enough for nice colors on it a bit easier. Most sundews aren’t /that/ picky about humidity that they need a completely enclosed container.
That plant looks so cool
I have one, not in a terrarium, and I almost never feed it. I have some goldfish flakes that I will crush up and lightly sprinkle on it on rare occasions. I’ve had mine for over a year and he’s really happy, just make sure it gets plenty of light and keep keep the substrate wet with that distilled water you have been using. ☺️
