The Hamish lights are the best-selling garden accessories on the Next website
Garden lovers looking to add a touch of personality to their outdoor space should take a look at Next’s home section, where a set of two garden ornaments are flying off the virtual shelves.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the current highland cow obsession, the Hamish the Cow Outdoor Solar Lights are the best-selling garden accessory on the Next website.
Priced at £35 for two, the adorable pair of light-up ornaments are designed to make an attractive addition to gardens during the day and after dark.

Part of the retailer’s super popular Hamish collection, one of the highland cows has lights in his bow and the other has lights in her necklace.
Both give off a warm white glow that’s perfect for brightening up outdoor seating areas or focal areas of the garden when the sun goes down.

The solar lights take eight hours to charge during the day and will then run for around six hours.
They have a handy on/off switch and require one 1.2V 300mAh AA Ni-MH battery, which comes with the set.
The Hamish the Cow Outdoor Solar Lights have attracted positive comments on the Next website.
One shopper called them ‘just beautiful’ and Linda said: “These are really cute, looking forward to putting them out in my garden. Well made.”
Someone else put: “I am really pleased with my Hamish outdoor solar lights. Easy to set up and they look lovely through the day and also at night once lit up. Would highly recommend.”
And another fan wrote: “Really happy with the product the lights are really bright.” However, one customer criticised the price, saying: “The only downside is they are pricey!”
