The last pic is my 7yo SOP who has been through the mill. I ended up losing the entire stem and had 10 pearls (no stem attached) left to attempt to save her. Someone had suggested a humidity cup so I put my pearls (and some random other strings) in a pot and Saran wrapped the top for ~1.5wk. All but 2 pearls rotted or burst.

I’ve been staring at these last 2 pearls for days and days and decided to give them a little poke today. I was met with quite a bit of resistance so I’m really hoping they’ve rooted and I can bring my plant back to life! What a success story that’d be

Unless there’s enough stem attached, the foliage doesn’t contain the genetic material to produce new growth. 💚

edit: They may root like other zombie leaves, but please don’t be disappointed if they can’t do more than that.
