I have a terrium that I set up a few months ago. Im planning on getting vampire crabs for it in the future. The only inhabitants right now are spring tails and isopods. I did not see this yesterday morning. What is it and is it harmful in anyway for my terrarium?

Need help identifying a mold or fungus? That can only be achieved using professional sampling methods and laboratory analysis. Your environment is too wet. if it’s a wet environment purposely it needs ventilation.

Slime mold …..not sure the species but I’m sure it’s a slime mold
im no expert but from what ive seen on this sub previously, this could be slime mould. with the limited knowledge i have i think its a good sign of a healthy terrarium as far as im aware.
It’s beautiful. Don’t know what it is though.
Wow so cool
Only the coolest thing in the world to hitchhike into your terrarium!!! As others have mentioned it’s a slime mold.
It looks like a blob ! 🤩

Mycelium growth can often look very similar, although this does look more like slime mold. Keep an eye for any mushrooms near by.
Some Mycelium growth in one of my terrariums.
