Got this one for about 10 months when it was only half an inch caudex.
Repotting today because there’s a bit of buildup of dead, rotted roots at the bottom.
I still find the cracks on the caudex to be a sight to behold, but the shape…..🫠😔
Any way to keep it round and ball-like?

Caudex looks similar to Dioscorea mexicana.
I would say hemi or sylvatica
Je pense que c’est bien un dioscorea elephantipes. J’ai déjà vu un cas comme ça. Je pense que tu devrais l’incliner quand tu vas le replanter afin de laisser toute la partie lignifiée à l’air pour éviter le pourrissement.
Je trouve que ta plante est bien plus jolie qu’une boule toute ronde.
