The owners of a much-loved garden centre in Cornwall have announced that the business is now up for sale.
Trevena Cross Garden Centre in Breage has shared a post on Facebook this evening (June 30) which explains the reason why the owners have now decided to sell.
“Trevena Cross Garden Centre is now officially for sale, as our long-standing owners plan for a well-earned retirement after many years of dedication to the business.”
However, the garden centre has reassured its loyal customers that, for now, nothing will change.
“We would like to reassure all of our valued customers that it remains very much business as usual.
“Our full team will remain in place, and all staff will transfer to any future new ownership under TUPE, ensuring continuity of service and the same friendly faces you’re used to seeing.”

“This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter — one that we hope will bring fresh ideas and further investment to help Trevena Cross grow and thrive into the future.
“We are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support and look forward to welcoming you, as always, to the garden centre.”
The property is listed for sale at £3,500,000 through the leading property specialist, Christie & Co.

The description highlights its key features, including a “stylish on-site Bistro” and “multiple polytunnels housing a wide range of indigenous and exotic plants.”
Furthermore, the brochure reveals that the site benefits from planning permission to construct a new farm shop, a strategic addition aimed at boosting turnover.
