I know VFTs are hard mode for terrariums. I wanted something cheap, and plausibly deniable if it failed. I won't feel too bad if I kill a plant that was doing its best to die in the first place.

Why are there air holes? I’m brand new to terrariums, but isn’t the whole point having its own isolated environment? Wouldn’t having air holes just make it slightly more humid than having a plant on the outside with no box around it? Don’t carnivorous plants need extremely high humidity and distilled water? How does this work?
