A garden centre is offering summer holiday activities for children.

Dobbies in Swindon has opened its Little Seedlings Holiday Club, offering a sensory workshop.

The club, which is free to attend, is aimed at children aged four to 10 years old and will run on various days across July and August.

The workshop, named Summer Scents, will allow attendees to learn about the smells of summer in gardens, homes, and parks.

Children will also learn how and why flowers have scents, the herbs with the most fragrance, and the history of perfume making.

They will then have the opportunity to mix their own petal perfume to take home.

The garden centre is also providing a Kids Eat for £1 deal, available with every traditional adult breakfast and main course meal at lunch.

Children under 16 can choose from the children’s breakfast, lunch menu, or a pick-and-mix meal, which includes a drink.

Restaurants are open Monday to Sunday from 9am, but customers are advised to check the opening hours for the Swindon store, as they may vary.

Dobbies is also offering 20 per cent off all outdoor toys and play equipment in the Swindon store.
