It's really hard to find a source for native plants where I live, so I was giddy to find these guys! Two Lupinus nootkatensis, and two salmon berries! They had so many native berries. I really love cloudberries, but I don't think they'd be happy in my yard. There was a land acknowledgement sign in front of the booth, and many of the plants had cute little tags that include the Dena'ina name for them 💜

Anytime else here from Alaska? Particularly south central?

gay people and native plants, name a more iconic duo. sincerely, a bisexual who wishes cloudberry and salmonberry were native to where she lives so she can grow them too.

I’m in the midwest but I love getting to see posts and learn about plants from other areas of the country/world so thanks for sharing! The lupines are so cute! Happy pride!

Sorry a little off topic but can native lupine ever have 10-12 leaves?

Nice grab on the salmon berries, I used to love munching on those in the PNW woods
