  1. Perfect timing! I'm going to make Fertilizer Friday's a thing, good idea!
I have just downsized and will not have the space for a tilled garden. The bags would go perfect with my 2 garden towers.

  2. I have small garden with a few raised beds so adding some containers on the empty spots is extending by space😊

  3. I like to grow in bags for potatoes and large pots around my big beds for more space and visual interest..

  4. Thank you, Brian!
I love grow bags for many reasons – the portability, affordability, variety in sizing.

But the #1 reason is being able to modify and customize the soil and amendments based on the season and who I'm growing. Especially because our native soil is clay soil that repels water, and needs a lot of help in hot & dry zone 12B.

  5. I grow in containers because I have a small space. I like how portable they are and I can packed them away at the end of the growing season.

  6. Great videos!! I've been growing in containers for 2 years now, been an awesome experience. We have been doing containers due to the fact we are renting and don't want to dig up the landlords property or install raised beds, and for the second reason is that it's super shady everywhere but the front of our house where we can't dig! Thanks for all the great garden tips, really digging the container garden series!

  7. Thanks, Brian. I’m fighting rootknot nematodes in my garden and am switching to containers as a solution. The regular grow bags required too much watering so I switched to plastic ones. It’s better than nothing, but would like to try the grow bags you use. QUESTION……can the nematodes penetrate those grow bags?

  8. I grow in containers because my yard has a lot of trees. So far I have mostly tried using plastic containers but they only last a season or two and then become brindle. Would love to try something different so I decided to enter my email for the giveaway. Thank you for this opportunity.

  9. I've had an inground garden for 5 years with not much luck. I would love the opportunity to try the grow bags. Tired of having to buy vegetables and herbs from the stores (toxic)

  10. I grow all my veggies in cloth containers. I'm in SoCal and my house on north side of street. My driveway is where I get the best sun so 1/4 of my driveway is my garden. All concrete so containers are only soil available.

  11. I can't wait every week for your videos on both of your channels. I love the support and honesty you offer. I have to use containers for a good portion of my garden because my Maryland neighborhood is chock full of black walnut trees. I'm sure you know how that affects my nightshades in the ground. Hug your beautiful family and Bella for me!

  12. I entered and I'd like to win because those fabric grow pots look very nice and I've had great success with basic ones this year.
I transferred several plants into cloth because the plastic pot soil temps were 105℉!

  13. I've been growing in 5-gallon buckets for a few years, I would like to try the grow bags to see how much better my garden can be. Thanks!

  14. I enjoy containers because of the animals pressure and mobility. I’m in the forest of metro Atlanta and I have deers, chipmunks, 🐿️ and all kinds of wildlife trying to eat my berries and 🍉.

  15. Living in northern MN containers and raised beds have been our go to for about the last 5 years. Thank you for this invaluable information!

  16. Amazing info, thank you!

I am working to expand my garden via containers for a few reasons. Elevation to be easier on my body, hard clay soil and ability to move plants throughout the season, as the available sunlight shifts positions.

  17. Hi! The Grass Roots pots I got earlier this year have been working really well here in my backyard space. I have a 20 gal one with a bush tomato and 2 cucumber plants and a 10 gal with a determinant tomato and some herbs. That and an olla keeps the plants happy. My Green Stalk has been doing well, but July is coming.

  18. As a single mom living in an apartment trying to get started container gardening, this gift card would go a long way in helping my family.

  19. I have crops and flowers in beds, pots, bags, barrels, and in-ground (and I just bought a Greenstalk for next season) — I try to watch where things do best so I can make my garden chores smarter as I get older! I'd like to try these new bags cuz the old models do dry out. Thanks for the tips!

  20. I grow everything in containers, primarily due to heavy clay soil and nematodes. I use cattle mineral tubs for everything. They're $3 at my local feed store. They hold up well to our heat. I am not sure their size, but at least 20 gallons. I have a couple of small raised beds and 4 Earth Boxes.

  21. I like to grow in containers to be able to bring plants in if it's to cold for them, or going to have severe storms when the plants aren't established yet.

  22. Well, I grow plants in pots mostly because I want to be having flowers and nice smelling herbs and plants on my deck when I'm outside on my deck. That's not to say I don't also grow in the ground and in raised beds – cause I do that too!

  23. i want grow in containers because living in a small home with little lawn and being a first year grower seen alot of good reviews on this product

  24. I grow in containers because it's the only way I can stop groundhogs from devouring certain plants. I've put a baby gate on the stairs to my deck to stop them from coming up to eat my plants. Potatoes, onions, and garlic are the only things I can grow in the yard without protection. Thank you for your content, it's appreciated!

  25. I've switched my entire garden from raised beds to containers. I'm 70 and kneeling down to work with plants at ground level just isn't possible any longer. Since I'm in hot dry Texas, I put rope wicks into the bottom of the grow bags or buckets and suspend them over a reservoir. I still have to water daily, but only once a day instead of 3-4 times a day. These lined grow bags would make keeping plants watered so much easier!

  26. I wish I had seen this before buying all the other growbags I'm using this year! I would love to try the Grassroots bags 😊.

  27. I'd like to use container gardening so that I can take my plants from this rental property to my new property once I move. It will also be nice to be able to take containers into a warmer areas when the temperatures drop in the winter. These containers seem to be incredibly nice. I like the 3/4 covered top portion and the bottom 1/4 to help with the roots. Nice, helpful video. Thank you

  28. I want to gift my daughter some grow bags. She is in an apartment with limited space but manages a great little garden every year. Her bags only last a year or 2.
I bring my rosemary in during the winter in zone 5 They do very well and I have fresh year round. All the rest of my herbs come back every spring

  29. This is just the YT video I need because I am trying to grow my own veggies. I will need to use pots, 😊. Bought several pots of various sizes. Now, time to step up and plant. Thank you for his video.
