Cut the roots off above the rot. Leave the plant out of the soil for a few days for the cut to callous over. I’m not sure about what kind of soil to put it in and how much to water it. I’ve never been successful at this, but maybe someone else can help. It’s supposed to be easy. 😒

I dont even think anything is wrong with it. When the roots rot it will look dehydrated and lose green color. I have lost probably hundreds of Haw roots to rot (or just dropping roots) over the years for context lol. Gonna have to be more patient and laissez-faire to be successful with Haws imo…

You could always check the roots but I’d say it’s fine. The brown coloration at the bottom isn’t the same as rot color if I’m not wrong?
