You guys. Roughly a year ago I saw this plant in a certain airport and it instantly drew me in. After walking past the row of dozens of planters full of it and touching all of them and feeling a mighty need, I finally said F it and pinched off a small prop. I know, I knowwwwww. Proplifting bad I'm a crime bag etc. But I did it anyway and it filled me with joy and I'm not exactly sorry. Not long after, however, I ended up moving back across the country and that prop and a few of my other plants sadly had to stay behind as part of my mother's collection.
Since then, I have repeatedly searched EVERY PLANT STORE and every store with plants in it in my city and have come up empty over and over again. (Well, not totally empty because I have acquired several other plants in the meantime. But not the one I have been looking for) Even plants that were labeled as N'joy or Glacier just turned out to be P&J. Every time. I was almost fooled by a couple curiously similar manjula leaves in a mixed pot I bought, but still no dice. Several times I considered just ordering one online but I was just not ready to give up on my side quest of finding one organically and have kept looking and hoping. Meanwhile, post after post on Reddit of everyone and their mother finding one (to include at WALMART) have mocked me.
UNTIL TODAY. I happened to check out a new book store in the area which also has an incredibly lovely little plant section inside of it. With permission from myself to buy one or two more plants to add to my new window shelves I hung, for once not specifically looking for this one particular plant but thinking maybe I'd find a cute lil peperomia or maybe I'd get lucky and find a cream splash brasil or something. After one quick scan of the plant area I glanced up and THERE SHE WAS. AFTER ALL THIS TIME.
I may have shrieked more than once in the process of completing my purchase and leaving the store and driving home with it. I can't stop staring.
Yeahhhhh. I'm going to be riding this high for a while. 😭🥰

YAY!!!!!!!!!
N’joy your purchase!
First of all – congratulations! That must have felt so great!
Second – it’s 3.30 am and I just ordered this plant and a macrame hanger. So thanks for that, I guess. 😆
Can I ask why N’joy is more sought after than Pearls and Jade? Is it just personal to you, or is there something objectively better about them?
Meanwhile I’m over here just thinking pothos is pothos lol.
Yeah, I got mine at Walmart 🫣… but congrats!! I love this little plant as well!
This is one of my wish list plants also, congratulations!! It’s seriously the best feeling when you find the one you’ve been searching for haha
When my Pothos gets too long, I cut it and put it in another pot or the same pot. I then have more Pothos
She’s beautiful! Congratulations!
Weird guess, but are you talking about the Houston airport? If not, you should fly through that airport for a thrill too
Why didn’t you just prop the one you already had and take it with you? 😑
I said oooooooh! Congrats, she’s a beaut.
She’s a beaut
1. Congratulations! I’m glad you finally found it! 2. Was it the Houston airport? Because last year I was SOOOO close to sneaking a prop off of this long row of beautiful NJoy pothos they had but was too afraid.
I travel to Hawaii for work frequently and one of my favorite things is seeing the pothos grow naturally 35 feet high and leaves as big as dinner plates.
maybe a canada thing? but i see these at every single big box store!

I grew her, from a single cutting of 2 leaves
I found one a month ago in a thrift shop. Congratulations!
that’s my white whale, i can’t find her anywhere!! congrats and n’joy! 😋
Was that in Clarksville Tennessee? Small world…
My favorite is the Marble Queen. She is a total gem of a plant and is a great grandma now via propagation! I made babies from her and then baby’s from the babies and so on. 😂 Her name changed from “Your Highness” to Your Highness GiGi or GiGi for short. My kid was the one to point out she was a great grandma now and needs a name correction.
Ugh I want one!
