You need to some grow lights on it asap and make sure it’s been well watered/soaked

I think those leaves are probably toast but monstera are resilient and I bet the growth points are fine and it’ll come back k

While there’s green there’s hope. pot it, put it in a light place, water and wait.

  5. They are tough plants – even if the leaves were damaged due to extreme heat (or cold) it will come back from the base if not from the stems. Water (but not sitting in water), bright indirect light, and patience!

all the leaves are more or less dead ,or soon will be,cut them off and repot in a smaller pot ,they hate to be over potted, holds too much water ,put it outside on a porch. in the shade, for the summer ,it will regrow much quicker and don’t over water it

Don’t over water it at this point or it will turn to mush

My honest opinion, take a machete and chop it ALL from the base. Let it regrow, monsteras are very resilient but u gotta get that sucker nice and soaked asap

Yes it most likely will recover. What type of soil did she use? She may need to pull it out of that soil and set the whole root ball into a bucket with some Superthrive and water. Also she can prune off all the wilty leaves. Keep any stem that is 1/2″ or more in diameter. The Superthrive will help with transplant shock, and also provide the plant with the nutrients it needs to start. It’s recovery. I recommend a plant light up. Mine has a Monstera setting and you can use that for the recovery as well because bright light is going to be really important to start. Regrowing leaves quickly if the heat isn’t too bad where you are they really love being outside and in humidity in summer and it will recover much more quickly outdoors And then you can bring it back in in the fall. ❤️‍🩹🪴

If it’s me, and this is just me, I dead head the whole thing down to the base and let it put out new growth. If it has good light, you’ll be shocked at how fast it regrows.

I chopped the whole top off my monstera stem and it finally started growing new leaves again, I just had stem and roots in water

Give it consistent watering and a few weeks and biweekly liquid feed and even conditions. It is shocked. I wouldn’t cut a thing for a good few weeks unless obviously yellow and dead.

There’s a product called Superthrive that can revive plants in transplant shock.

I genuinely don’t know how people manage to kill these plants. The Arum family is absurdly resilient. It’ll spring back.
