No food in the pool? Olive Garden is challenging this well-known summer guideline with the launch of pasta-themed pool floats.

Starting June 30, the Italian chain will sell inflatables modeled after three classic pasta shapes, taking its menu poolside for a limited time.

The “Floatin’ Fettuccine,” “Relaxin’ Rigatoni” and “Takin’ It Easy Tortelloni” pool noodles will be available starting at 3 p.m. CT on Monday.

“Olive Garden has always been known for going big — big portions, big value, and never-ending first courses,” Senior Vice President of Marketing Jaime Bunker said in a news release. “This summer, we’re bringing that same spirit of abundance to the pool. Our pasta-inspired floats are a larger-than-life way to celebrate the dishes our guests love, and just like in our restaurants, every order starts with a first course.”

Mirroring the restaurants’ menu, which includes breadsticks and a soup or salad with each dish, the noodles will be accompanied with a complimentary “first course item.”

Customers select between a salad-inspired floating drink holder, a soup-themed tote bag and a breadstick-adorned bucket hat to go along with their oversized inflatables.

The floats are priced at $40 each and will be available for purchase online.
