The North Carolina Cooperative Extension- Caldwell Center Master Gardeners hosted an Evening at the Community Gardens on June 19. The Master Gardeners talked about the importance of native plants. They gave garden tours and made fresh lemon basil summer squash salad for everyone to taste. There was a flower arranging session, and you got to take your arrangements home.
