I found this plant someone in my neighborhood was giving away, but I can’t tell what it is. Image identification isn’t very helpful either. It’s planted with an ivy for some reason so I plan to separate them.
Definitely an unpruned kalanchoe. Id make several short stem cuttings off it and replant in fresh soil. They root in water too. This is a plant that needs the 12 hours of darkness to bloom so leave it in a sunny window where interior lights dont hit it. I put mine under grow lights and then dark for the nights. I do this with my poinsettias and holiday cactus at the same time as they are all day neutral bloomers. Or short day. Fun to play with and successfully get to bloom. These are called throwaway plants in the trade because as you see they get long and unattractive with no blooms so most people toss them… and they are available in every grocery store cheap!

looks like a light starved kalanchoe
