Help!!! What’s this on my Birds of Paradise????? Is this a “good” guy pest, bad pest, or am I freaking out over nothing?

   I’m not gonna be that guy butttt that looks like mealy bugs. Not the worst pest but def not good.

   I also have a white cat, and this leaf is the only one with any white thing on it, but I’m an over thinker with a lot of plants… 😬

   Not a good guy. Use Neem oil on them

   Meely bugs for sure!
   The moms lay ontop of the babies, so one spray is never enough. It will take multiple treatments.

   The absolute worst! Mealy bugs. Check the underside of all your leaves and then burn your house down.

   Looks like mealy bug but white casing can also be the exoskeleton left behind by aphids.
