I just moved into a new construction and put a fescue/rye mix down. I am killing it all and putting in a KBG in the fall. I cannot wait. Irrigation went in yesterday so I’m all set

    Also in SNJ

My first impression: “I also wished I had 300sqft yard” and then the second pic 💀

What herbicides are you using? Are you on well water or city?

I’m on day like 8 of 95° days in Easter Missouri and it’s starting to take its toll. I wanna keep my spring grass 🙁

Gat damn. What’s your 1x/week watering time look like? Did you get rain recently?

I must be the only person who thinks this looks like your lawnmower is broken.

Looking good. I’m on long island, and this heat has been brutal for the lawn and me!

Great job!!! If you’re consistently managing to keep your lawn looking like this 90%+ of the time, despite weather events, you’re certainly among the elite lawncare enthusiasts.

The most basic issues that many people encounter are that they don’t know how or when to water and cut around the weather. The shoulder seasons are easier and when most peeps snap take their photos. Props for the heatwave pics.

I’m not in SNJ but my lawn endured the same heatwave and my Tall Fescue is cut high, striped, and still looking lush!
