The worst part is that bats and moths care hella cute. Hell, native bees and wasps are cute! The little wasps who pollinate stuff like mountain mint are in fact the cutest lil things, but people are incapable of hearing “wasp” and not defaulting to yellowjackets and European hornets.

Bats are adorable. We used to live in an old house with roll up window screens and there was one screen where they would sleep during the day. So cute watching them get settled in and later to watch them wake up and head out for the feast.
