Hey! I posted the other day about my pineapple and asking if it’s ready to harvest and everyone said to wait a bit more. It’s been a bit more and the pineapple is more than halfway yellow and the leaves on the top come off super easily. Is she finally ready to harvest?! I’m dying to dig into it😅😅😅😭

Not an expert, but shouldn’t you wait until the full color changes? Either way, looks great! 💛💚💛
Ooh it’s so cute! And I think it would probably be better to wait just a little more till the colour fully changes. But that’s just my non expert opinion lol

The top portion looks too green. I think wait a little longer. Early picking usually leads to tough sour fruit. (Not an expert, just used to spend younger days playing in the fields)

How long has it taken to get a pineapple?
Did you have to do anything to get it to fruit. I have one that I started from a top. I think this is its second year.
