Put a little bit of heavier soil (clay or garden soil) in containers with hydrangeas where their roots are to hold moisture better.

A question for either you or Aaron. Do you have any thoughts on using pvc piping for irrigation instead of drip tape? I would use it on the south facing side of our house that gets 10+ hours of sunlight a day.
Well I live in cordon indiana and we have ninety six degrees for the heat index of a One hundred and six my flowers are okay But I have.
To worry them every night if not they'll fry

In Cleveland Ohio, we had 93 degrees and 73% humidity. It's been awful.
Laura a beautiful video. Love all the containers for 2025. I cannot wait till you do your magic in the front of the flower shed. Every time you pass through there I imagine the front door flanked by an English style flower bed. I love the colors of the 2025 garden.

I am not sure if one performs better than the other? I prefer resin because I cannot lift heavy objects, but am concerned the soil will dry out faster, roots cannot breathe? Thanks ❤

Question, in the UK we're about to head into a second heatwave, and I read somewhere that you shouldn't fertilise annuals in extreme heat as the plants should be focusing on hydrating, not growing. What would you advise?

I bought 2 full sun hanging baskets from Costco in May and just plunked them in their plastic containers in a tall planter. They have verbena, superbells and petunias. Not sure if the plants were PW or not as it came pre-made. The middle is now splaying open and the dense middle undergrowth seems a mixture of yellow leaves and in other parts, dry brown leaves 🍂 . I give them water soluble fertilizer once a week and water daily by hand. Blooms have been gorgeous & prolific until the immense heat wave here outside Toronto this week (40+ with humidity). 😢 Will they bounce back? Should I give them a Chelsea Chop? Help! 😮
