  1. Hope you do well with your wisdom teeth. All mine came out at once when I was 16. Hubby is having his out one at a time as he has problems at age 72. He recovers pretty quick afterwards.
My garden is struggling in the heat. But as you said there are some wonderful things happening too.

  2. Dang! Hope the heat wave is over by now. It went through for us a few days ago and finally broke. Our air cond. broke down too. Yikes.

  3. I always love your perspective. Today was a little cooler in my area of Michigan at 93 degrees. Argh! Definitely not used to it being this hot for more than a day or two, and it's day 4. This is my second year planting in pots on my little patio. It's about the little wins of getting any lettuce this year (3 out of 6 plants lived), purchased tomato starts from the farmer's market when mine died, and a few of my herbs & one type of flower actually grew this year. Last year i got one pepper & a couple tomatoes from starts, and nothing from seeds I planted. Yay for progress! ❤❤

  4. Way off the subject: those pvc irrigation conduits can't be below the frost line: Is M. putting a slight tilt to the lines, leading to a drain sump– or is he relying on blowing it out with compressed air, or-what to do before the hard freezes?

  5. so good to see you again! i've missed you and your positivity!! make sure whatever you do, you keep the ice on your face after getting your wisdom teeth out!! my husband didn't want to use ice at all, but i hounded him about it. well, he was glad he listened to me and 3 days later he was eating prime rib. he had no swelling so there wasn't any pain! gosh i hope you see this message, lol

  6. I missed you!! I kept telling my family about the 100 days. In your last video I told them Jess must have really needed a break ! I’m glad you’re feeling better. 🌻🌻🌻😊🌱🌹🌸🌺🌻They laugh at how talk about you like we’re life long friends! I have been here since the very beginning so I feel like I know you! Rest well! Stay cool! Glad to see you today!!

  7. So happy just to see ya even if it would have to be one of those short vlog. I.have been worried. I Bless you all time & any time.
He will always see us thru no matter what the problem & or outcome . Even if he has to carry us from time to time. AMEN. ❤

  8. I pulled a lot out today because it was dying like you said there’s some stuff that is doing really good of course The likes to heat the peppers the eggplant some of the tomatoes my looking for my bottle Gord. I am going to add more peppers tomorrow, but I’m gonna start them in a tray and then I’ll transfer them out.
This year, I’ve mentioned it a couple of times, but I am growing peppers like crazy because I am going to be gifting peppers to Friends plants they can over winner and my daughter-in-law‘s. I have three daughter-in-law’s. I’m gonna be giving them pepper plants. I just planted some more Serranos right now And some ghost peppers in seating so hopefully I’m gonna put them outside out. They’re gonna germinate fast like in a couple of days I’m sure.
I’m just tearing things down and composing it and start to look really rough like you said it’s too hot. I’m in Houston Texas. It’s really really hot and I’ve been going out at night gardening in the moonlight or early in the day really been doing things at night. 🌕🌙🌛

  9. Just recently, I changed my whole HVAC system the ductwork the furnace the condenser everything because I’ve been here in 30 years and it was time for an upgrade all the duck Work was so old. He said I was having a lot of loss of air in the attic so it cost me a big penny, but I’m hoping it’ll last me another 30 years but he did give me a 10 year warranty and if anything happens, I just gotta call him back and he’s gonna come every six months to service it for me as well. I was so happy because my furnace was acting up so bad and I was so worried about The summer but I’m glad I did it. The house feels great and I know I’m gonna be ready for winter as well. 💜✌🏽

  10. I’m in Ohio and also under heat advisories
I go out for short periods of time early in the morning and then late afternoon coming inside to cool off
I water the planters fill bird baths tie tomatoes but take many breaks

  11. I’m glad you’re feeling better!
Watching this video while drinking the first batch of basil tea of my season. Also organizing my garlic harvest for this year. This is a great day!

  12. Hi Jess, you are such a sweet person…love your smile. It's so hot the chickens are laying boiled eggs. I made alot of salad 😅

  13. So glad you are back on with this video. I love all of your content and have learned so much from you! Praying for your health and am so glad that you took some time off to take care of yourself. You doing that is modeling good self-care. We’re dealing with this heat wave here in Maryland, as well. ❤️

  14. I use my spoon tomatoes in cucumber salad and regular salads. I also use them in pasta dishes. They are good straight off the vine!🤤 🍅 I’ve had a terrible time with cucumbers and squashes this year! The squash borers have gotten everything! Between the snails, rollie pollies, squash borers and stink bugs I’m getting very little from my garden this year. Definitely not going to stop me from gardening but dang!! It super sucks! I am looking forward to my winter garden though! 😊❤

  15. We miss you too. I’m in NJ. My three outside thermometers say 106, in the shade today, the 24th. The weather channel app said 99. No one had air conditioning when I was growing up. Not even in school. I’m so grateful to have it now. Blessings to all

  16. Here in Sweden our summers usually don't get hotter than 80 degrees and then only for a few weeks. We usually stay in the 60-70s from May to September (October). I can't live in the heat, born in Southern California 70 years ago, I moved from the heat in my 20's and have never regretted it. My heart goes out to all who live in these humit, hot areas. As you say BE SAFE and Careful. Happy Gardening Season 2025. Thanks for checking in, always great to see your beautiful, happy face and hear your poignant words. Good luck at the dentist!

  17. Welcome back, Jess🥰
There's just something special about a tomato harvest🤩
I live in a big city(Johannesburg South Africa) and I have Indigo Rose Cherry tomatoes in my courtyard. It's our God son's favourite to pick garden snacks(You called it 👍🏻)
You and Maia came across my path at a time of reflection in my life(53 yrs) 😇
    Thanks Thanks Thanks
    Blessings from 🇿🇦
