I bought this philodendron melanochrysum from a nursery and they used a piece of wood as a pole to climb and I want to swap it out for a stackable sphagnum moss pole. Do you think I should cut and prop or transplant the root ball?

I also want to keep using its current pot when I install a moss pole

Do you have to chop it? Can you just pull the roots off or snip the anchored part? Fwiw, I like the wood.

Wow how did you get it to size up like that? It’s like you flipped a switch

I’d chop and prop personally but everyone else seems to want it to become huge asap so probably go with that lol.

  5. I’m begging you put that baby on a moss pole and give it RAIN water šŸ„¹šŸ„¹šŸ„¹šŸ„¹šŸ˜
