I’ve had my string of hearts for about a month and a half now and unfortunately all my windows are north facing, so I got her and my pearls a Sansi grow light. I only water her when the top leaves fold in and have been keeping her under the grow light at top light for around 9 hours. Is there something I should fix? Is my light too close to them?

It is a normal variation for them! As the leaves mature the green will get darker and the yellow variegation will go to a white/pink color! It’s a happy plant! You’re doing great! It looks so cute in that start pot too! They’ve been taunting me all summer…I’ll grab one soon!

wanna establish a baseline so i don’t over explain anything and to save us both time—do you have other succs? good knowledge base for succulents?

important question no matter what: what’s the composition of the substrate these are potted in?
