  1. I hope you really didn’t throw those cushions away! I recovered mine from outdoor fabric on sale and pocketed them so no zippers and $40 saves $150 or more now! Send them to me! Give to your church group, Easy to sew best frugal investment

  2. I have learned so much watching your channel! This question is kind of unrelated to this video but, what kind of sprinklers do you have in the new grass in the background?

  3. Laura, loving the boxwood area cleaned out!! Opens up space, certainly looks cleaner, trees and plants can breathe. Have you decided what, if anything, you’re replacing there?
The new cushions are great…good colors(like beige with pop of sage green…perfect.
Loads of work but so worth it!
    🌳🌳🌱🪴🌸🌺🌳🌳

  4. Omg! What a difference!!! It looks so fresh and lovely! Not sure if you realize that two of the yews seem stressed!

  5. I noticed you spreading the mulch/compost with the tines/teeth down. When I do this activity, I find it easier to spread and level the compost with tines up position. Love the content and all the beautiful plantings. Great work!!!

  6. I feel you always teach us so much
    Replace plants that die!
Get rid of stuff that looks poorly!
Make everything look ‘pretty’ while we wait for the next phase of a project!

  7. Wow! I just had to stop at 1:16 to gaze at how your property was before the Garden Answer touch. I've watched your channel forever and saw how things changed day by day. But, this reminded me of just HOW MUCH things have changed. I am amazed even still at all you have accomplished. Beautiful work Laura, Aaron and team GA.

  8. Your mint hedge… includes your experi-MINT. 😂
    Everything looks fantastic!
I’m in the hot soggy south. Wishing I had your energy to work hard outside all day. The humid air sits on me and zaps my motivation! But I love to watch you guys make such beautiful gardens! Truly inspiring!

  9. It’s so nice to see the old boxwoods removed and I agree the dogwood would look better if the trunk was exposed. Question: I’m currently looking for new patio furniture and really like your wicker set. Would you please share where you purchased them?

  10. Wow Laura removing the boxwood was a great idea it looks so much better adding the mulch looks so clean. The grass is growing fast wish my grass looked that good I’m in zone 10b SoCal. I’m like you I hate buying cushions so expensive mine wasn’t as thick when I last replaced them but I need to replace them again my chairs aren’t as big. Good job today, wish we could see more.

  11. What would we do without Laura and Aaron 😊 I will write you a letter about my health battles, including breast cancer, and that is when I discovered you❤❤❤❤ a true gift from God. Thank you for being a blessing in ways that you could never even know.❤

  12. We just bought a house in a very windy area. What do you do with your cushions when it's super windy out? I haven't put our patio furniture out yet because I just imagine having to go looking around the neighborhood for them😣

  13. Did I miss something? I thought you had three cats. New garden area looks great without the random box hedge! 🌱🌱🌱🐾🐾🌱

  14. What a simple project that made such a huge difference. Off subject, but will those Yews grow in a zone 9? It looks like a few of them are yellow. Are they OK or just needing some iron?

  15. I get the cheap little throw blankets from the dollar tree and put them on my furniture that the cat likes that way I can just fold it back when I want to set down and put it back over it when I’m done. I hate setting in cat or dog hair. And I don’t want my company to have to either. Love your channel and content.

  16. I had never heard of a Dog Wood tree before and I love the shape so seeing the trunk more would be lovely.
I love seeing Samantha her fashion is bright and gorgeous, my favourite was the 2 hats. She is also very creative the table display is beautiful.
Noticed Benjamin just after the mud got you 😳he is growing fast.
Great teamwork again today and the difference is crazy. The fresh mulch is a real game changer.
Take care everyone xx xx xx

  17. I live directly across from a cranberry bog on cape cod, its absolutely beautiful but we have nearly straight sand for "soil", I'm sure using compost would be helpful but are there any other or better ways to add organic matter in to help without disrupting what I already have planted? Thank you for all the amazing information over the years😊

  18. Love watching your videos ❤ question 🙋🏽‍♂️ when you mulch how do you keep the cats 🐈 from doing their business there I have hard time with neighborhood cats spraying on my plants and when I freshly mulch they go and use it right away. 😞

  19. Hi Laura, to help disguise some of the infrastructure like metal boxes and hose links you could always paint flowers or trees on them. Where I live (Port Moody, British Columbia) the majority of boxes have different scenes on them such as trees, flowers etc. so they actually blend into the landscape and look pretty at the same time.

  20. I really enjoyed the little snippet of your original property! I have been watching since the townhouse every single video. I can’t imagine a morning without you! In fact when I realize it’s Saturday my first thought is bummer no Laura today! A fun video would be a compilation of old footage? Or maybe some before and after videos. Especially in the heat of summer!

  21. Hi Laura I been watching your channel for a while. You have motived me in start planting a nice small set of flowers. I would like something that is all year round flowers. If you can help me with some ideas of planting flowers that don’t need too much attention.
