Soil is dry all the way through, some raindrops are plump while others are squishy

    If the drops closer to the base are soft and not plump, yes! Drown that hoe! A moisture meter does wonders when in doubt!! Or a clean bamboo chopstick. If you stick that into the soil and any comes out with it then it’s still got water

    Yes several of them look deflated and wrinkly. Time to water!

    if im ever not 100% sure i wait about a week then give the plant a big gulp, but if a significant number of the leaves are starting to become wrinkly i’d say youre good to water now

    Yep!! They look like shriveled peas! That’s always my rule of thumb when I water my pearls. I soak them in a sink full of water, and spray the top of them as well.
