Random pearls look like the soul got sucked out of them?


I’ve had this string of pearls for a new months. It has a lot of new growth, it has a grow light on the top, and I only water it when completely dry every 2-3 weeks. Otherwise healthy looking strands have a few pearls that are totally shriveled. It seems random. What’s happening?

    I think under watering? Mine did this too! And the only thing I did different was forgot I had them 😅 idk when I watered them last so I just chalked it up to that haha

    I find this is normal If you either go too long without water or it doesn’t get enough sun. Either way, the rest of your pearls are plump and full so I wouldn’t stress unless a ton of them start shriveling like that. It looks to be only a handful. They pluck right off.

    I water my SoP 1-2x a week but still have pearls randomly due. Sometimes that’s how it be. Leaves, flowers, entire plants just die or get messed up sometimes.
