Hello! This hoya was gifted to my wife and since I'm the primary plant caregiver of the house, it's on me to keep it alive. I'm fairly certain it was rather expensive, and I'd really like to get it to bloom, so I'm a little concerned about screwing it up. It's been dropping a leaf here and there recently like the one shown in the second picture. Should I be concerned about this? I don't water until the soil is dry. Does it show any signs of anything that needs to be changed? Time to be repotted? Looking for any feedback. Thank you!

Personally just have it dry for the most part water very light when doing so and mine lives on the window still
Hoyas are pretty hardy. Water when dry. You might want to consider either rinsing the plant under a shower or wiping the plant with a damp paper towel. Leaves look dusty.
It’s a Hoya Obovata. May possibly have some variegation. They’re sometimes referred to as “tropical succulents” – https://stevesleaves.com/products/hoya-obovata
They like bright sunlight, and to be watered when dry. Water fully, then allow to dry out.
Blooms typically happen when the plant is more mature/ larger. I have 4 in bloom now, they all are outdoors and get morning sun. So don’t stress if you don’t see them for awhile.
