Most of these were given to me because they were dying or I picked them up on a clearance rack. At this point, I don’t know if I would know how to take care of a healthy, well adjusted plant.
I feel this on a spiritual level. I work in the plant industry so almost all of my plants are rescues. I’m also a thrifter so I have entire walls in my house where the only thing I paid for was the soil in the pots I got from the dumpster and/or repurposed things. I sometimes buy a new plant (nobody in my life really messes with Exotics so I bought a pink princess) and then it’s sort of boring.
