My cat decided to attack two of my plants when she got locked in my office accidentally. I just wanted advice on how to save them.

The zebra plant she mostly just got the leaves but I would want it to fill out again so can I just cut the stalk and what for it to grow?

My dumb cane is one of my favorite. I've looked online and people have videos on how to prop bigger ones that have large stalks. Could I cut this guy somewhere to help him grow again? If so where. Please help me. 😭😭

My plants are under a grow light and get water when the top two inches are dry and were thriving before my cat went crazy.

Is your cat okay??? Dumb cane is INCREDIBLY irritating. It’s not poisonous, but the calcium oxalate crystals will cause extreme pain if they got it in their mouth. Keep a close eye on your cat.

This is why all my house plants are at my work 😅😭.

From OPs title I assumed he was a pirate, and that’s probably enough for that cat

Your dieffenbachia should be fine, but since it’s still small I wouldn’t cut it. Just remove the dry roots and either suspend the bottom in water (not touching the bottom of the glass/jar) or just stick not too deep into moist-ish soil. They grow roots like crazy sto 99% it’s gonna be fine.

Just stick it back into its pot, they should both be fine. I’m more worried about the cat.
    Also
You might want to invest in some plants for the cat. It has made my life easier as grass keeps his cravings at bay.

No advice but I too have a cat that attacks plants purely to destroy them, I feel your pain. She doesn’t even eat them. Just detaches the leaves and moves on.

Dumb cane is toxic to cats (not as fatal as lilies but it can cause stomach upsets and difficulty breathing). If your cat regularly likes attacking your plants you need to get a plant cabinet or a glass dome over that dumb cane so that it’s no longer accessible to your cat

Well ik you said it was an accident, but you really should keep these in a cabinet (ikea cabinet etc) or hang out of reach because on the chance your cat gets ahold of them again, not only does the plant suffer, so might your cat. A ton of plants are irritating or straight up deadly to animals.
