Please help me with exactly where I should trim this tree!
If you watch my video and look at the pictures you'll get an idea of what I need help with. I think I really messed up my olive tree that's indoors with improper lighting at the beginning AND terrible trimming. I know we could try putting it outdoors, but the thing is, one of my (odd) life goals has always been to have an indoor tree!
When it arrived 3 years ago, it was already almost 6 ft and had been trimmed back for shipping. I didn't get a grow light for it for over a year, but I do now. I also now use olive tree fertilizer. And it is doing so much better now that I take better care of it! I just think I really messed it up with my previous trimming…
BTW, it is up against a southwest facing window that gets a ton of light, no shade ever. I live in zone 6B, but again, I really was hoping to have an INDOOR tree.
I'm guessing one of the best options for it is to cut it in half? (I bought everything I need to try growing the cutting also.)
But please, any other SPECIFIC spots where I should cut it? And advice for going about that?
