This is Grandpa's 5 Gallon Bucket Garden for 2025.
Hi Grampa and Gramma☕️ I’m loving Grampas garden and want to make one just like it👍
Good luck Grandpa!
Thank you for sharing how you organize your gardening. I am also starting a small garden. I have started some bell peppers from seeds from the peppers we consumed i’ve also started some tomatoes from the seeds that fall out when cutting the tomatoes. The plants have grown, but the heat seems to be a little strong for the leaves right now I’ve move the plants so they’re not in direct sunlight all day. I am in Florida.😊
Great job Grandpa. I just put my plants in last week in Virginia. I wish us both a good crop this year.
Some totally unsolicited advice. Ocean Forest can be a bit HOT for tender seedlings and sensitive plants. Often times used primarily for flowering, its often been recommended to mix 50/50 with the 'Happy Frog' mix to get off to a great start!
How are you handling drainage in your buckets? We usually drill holes about 2" from the bottom to allow a nice 'pocket' of water on the bottom while allowing run off an opportunity to escape to avoid over watering
I am looking forward to seeing your crops from your garden this year. I hope it's very successful.
Hey grandpa. I’ve seen better growth in Lowe’s or Home Depot buckets work better. I think the white let too much sun to the root stunning the growth a bit
I hope you keep us updated periodically this summer. This is my first year for container gardening. I decided to make a porch/yard garden. Where I usually plant flowers in the yard I planted Brandywine and Cherokee Purple tomatoes and beans. In the containers I planted sweet peppers, jalapenos, herbs, radishes, and Ghost peppers for my son. I hope we both get a wonderful crop this year.
Do you have holes in the bottom of those buckets?
Best of luck to you for your garden this year! I hope the weather settles down and you have a productive year. I've used Fox Farm products before, though not that particular soil, and it is good quality so I hope that helps you out in your lovely bucket garden.
Well done Grandpa! Looks great! We all know you gonna make Elderberry wine instead of jam! 😂😂 Lets get Grandma toasted! 🤭🤭🤭😂
Thanks for showing us your new garden Grandpa! Its great! Just be careful around those buckets and watch your step coz we dont want ya kickin' them! 😂😂😂 😜😜
Nice backyard garden! May your harvest be plentiful ❤
Good luck with the bucket garden this year, Grandpa! I remember one of my Dad's favorite tomatoes was Celebrity. I think it held up nicely for market. He liked Rutgers, too, but perhaps for other reasons.
Oh, thanks for the head's up on those self-watering pots at Dollar Tree. Most of mine are pretty broken down after so many years. Have some herb seeds and various chinese mustard and cabbage types yet to plant.
Looking good, Grandpa!
Watching ads friend🎉❤😊😊. Thanks for sharing friend
Full watch full support
We had to grow fewer plants per pot and research what plants do best in buckets. Turned out to be very different than our usual gardening. We learned to harvest smaller vegies than in our old garden. Love watching your garden ! Thanks😊😊😊😊
I keep my buckets on the ground so worms can get in works great
OMG I love this! Wonderful idea!
Thank you for the lovely video Grandma and Grandpa! You inspire me to start doing this in my garden too! I enjoy watching your videos during the night as they always seem to calm me down as they bring me lots of comfort. I appreciate all the videos on this channel. Thank you always❤️🤍🐈🐈⬛🌱🌿🥕🍅🥒

This is really a smart idea! Love you Grandma,Grandpa and the kitties, take care of yourselves❤
We also do Bucket Gardening and we changed our soil this year. I hope it works for you. I would love to see videos of how you did. Good Luck.
Very nice. We have tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, peppers, herbs, strawberries and dwarf fruit trees in our container garden. I've expanded it this year since food prices are so high.
I like your set up for the bucket garden. Hope you get a good harvest.
This is very neat love it
Fox Farm is gold! As is reflected in the price. 😬🙃 But it is worth it!
