have everything from carrot peel to banana peel to apple peel used coffee ground and notice that I cut everything up to very small pieces so this with the old DEC compost much uh faster compost tumbler and I open up this right now this is a plus sign you could see I have one container of all brown stuff like uh dry Leaf dry grass and sticks like that and then we have one container of our greens so what we’re going to do we’re just dump that in get some water in there just to keep them moist not too much of water and that’s how it looks inside we’re going to go ahead and close this up so we add all our kitchen scraps and our carbon and our water you got to spin it spin it slow you can hear everything is mixing you want to spin it around maybe about 20 times you could mix this every 2 to 3 days everything is decomposing from the top to the bottom to the middle evenly winter time like this you could water once you know once a week or once every two weeks and if it’s snow and it’s Frozen um and you can’t spin it it’s fine just wait till the weather is nice and then come back and you spin it you’re going to have compost come in springtime in 2 months

Sorry, GreenT, I have one of these tumblers. Honestly, for me, it does not serve any purpose other than an eyesore. The ratio of: time it takes to break down waste to useable compost compared to the amount of compost produced does not equal a usable amount in a resonable amount of time. The waste spends most of its time in an unusable state.
I like that. . .maybe will be less flies
decomposed or composted, not "de-composted"
Green T, nooo! Not spinning 20 times not even once per week. I spin 3 to 4 times ever 2days. I am 70 yrs old! 😂
My tumbler is almost full. I'm spinning it a couple of times a week, it's moist, but it never heats up 😩
The reason I am afraid to buy , it may smell bad. Does it smell ?
