  1. And then you flood the corner of your yard and your neighbors yard which makes you an a-hole who did a half assed job.. Put a reservoir.

  2. Mashallah 🤩 Sweet 👍🏻 Wow 🤩
    😍😍😍😍😍❤️🏡 Canada 🇨🇦🍁 Thank God 🙏🏻🤍
Hello I’m in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 in Hail 🏘⛰😂

  3. I had a neighbor who had those black hoses hooked to the gutter spouts at the bottom, through the flowebed out the end under her blocks and it sunk in under her blocks. She said someone told her to take 15,000 to have a French drain and I told her let me put some Stones right there where the water drains down and out into the yard and it fixed the problem it was free cuz I have the stones but you can do them with drainage rocks and a piece of gutter hanging out over the edge to allow the water to flow in a bigger area. too many people spend too much money on drain pipes. And ive seen too many people put things in the way of the natural flow of water on places that arent meant for that. It makes the water wash out underneath what they put in place

  4. Pop up should have 2’-3’ deep dry well under in so it doesn’t pool water so badly like yours.

  5. that’s not true. You might not have a clog. I bought a new house two years ago. My mind is clogged and just run water right on my beautiful bed.

  6. Absolutely hate these, My builder used one of these on the neighbor's house, and their backyard floods all the time fortunately I was able to get them to drain to the street and they did that to everyone after us I'm just glad I caught it being the second house done.

  7. Where I live there is really poor drainage due to heavy clay content in soil. I’ve encountered this problem bidding projects, even sometimes encountering a “fish bowl” landscape with the only escape being… none.

Seeing this makes me consider excavating out deeper and wider, and backfilling with 3/4 clear stone around one of these pop-ups. May be a cheaper solution vs building a French drain. Could add some small feature to utilize and disguise pop-up!

  8. One pop-up drain mirror is when except the flow from the entire roof line through both gutters? No buddy I do this work too and I have to tell you this isn't gonna be enough. Unless you live in an area with a little annual rainfall, this doesn't cut it. That homeowner needs that PVC to be perforated and surrounded by geotextile wrap and loose stone over to a dry well basin at least 50 gallon if you're gonna have both liters running to one. I do like the mirror at the top of the drywall basin. You almost had it bud

  9. 20 years and never had a clog!? I must be really unlucky because I get a clog every year! GTFO.

  10. Try that with clay soil, the discharge area will need to perk. Soil condition and type is important to know.

  11. Thanks! Im about to do this exact same thing so I’ve been looking into this. But why did you break up the concrete instead of tunneling under?

  12. hi, pop ups suck.
if you HAVE to use them, drill a tiny hole on the outside of the bend, so water can drain out completely and they dont break the first winter

  13. Why would anyone ever do it this way. You are just going to flood your backyard. Do the job the right way and send to the sewer or other runoff.
