How to Get the Galactic Mutation in Grow a Garden
The main method of getting the Galactic mutation is during an space-themed event named Space Travel. The first time it was triggered was a little before the Grow a Garden Summer Update on June 21, 2025. During this event, the island gains rocket boosters and propels you through space to an area with low gravity and floating asteroids.
This mutation can change the color of your fruits, making them purple and glowing with particles surrounding them.
It’s unknown for certain, but this may be an admin-only event meaning only the admins can get it to trigger. If so, the best time to get the Galactic mutation would be around any major updates for Grow a Garden.
Did you know there are secret weather types that admins can spawn? Before the Bizzy Bees update, a developer triggered a massive black hole above the island giving plants the Voidtouched mutation. It also creates low gravity so players can jump really high!
