   Triple digits have arrived here. Shade cloth, mulch, extra waterings – all check. Saw my first cucumber beetle as well. So will be dusting (sparingly) this evening. Great vid Gary – thank you.

   I had to use curtains and bedsheets doubled. Garden shade cloth won't do here in 115 degrees lol. My corn leaves is burning might not make it. It's been 115 today is 116. Next week 100-108, will alway be 108 and higher starting July here in Phx, AZ

   110F here in southern Ontario with the humidex for the next 4 days. Shade canopy is going up tomorrow morning with 50% shade cloth. Mulched the peppers and tomatoes already. Lettuce and cilantro? That’s toast 😂. It’s definitely going to seed regardless of the shade cloth …

   It's 106° here. I only plant heat tolerant varieties but they still get too hot

   I saw your dill, looks great, deer ate part of one of mine😢. Just wanted to try it this year. I have my cucumbers in between lattice, that helps with shade.

   Just came in from putting up my shade cloths. I was only able to cover the large tomato patch that gets direct all day facing south. I will see how the others do uncovered as an experiment.

    Heat, rain, 40 mph wind, shade cloth flying, me running around putting wind barriers, tying tomatoes, if you stand long enough I will tape you to my tomatoes, my neighbors are having a hay day watching me, I am not giving up 😂
