Got it almost a month ago, I was told to give it water every two weeks and leave it upside down to soak. At first the whole middle part was purple and now it’s losing its color. Is this a natural process or am I doing soemthing wrong? I usually just leave it on this counter by the window where it gets it light.
Water: bottled water
Temperature outside: 80-90 degrees

Definitely stop soaking at this point. This looks like a ‘Houston Pink’ and it’s flowering! You don’t want the blooming portion to get saturated with water as it can wreck the flowers and stunt the blossom growth.
I would mist throughly(avoiding the blossom as best as you can) and more frequently as it does look a little dry.
Bright, indirect or dappled light is perfect. It’s not a bulbous type so placing it upside down to dry isn’t as crucial. Especially now as you may also damage the blossoms if they are being moved around and placed upside down.
Very pretty.
