Thought I’d share my little ~3 gallon terrarium. It’s not sealed and gets routine maintenance but I hope it still fits in here.
I set it up in January of 2024, the hardscape is lava rock and driftwood with aqua soil used as the growth medium. I set it up with a variety of aquatic plants I had around as well as a couple small misc houseplants.
It’s changed a lot since then and I need to prune back growth about every month or the faster growing hydrocotyle tripartita takes over.
Oh and there’s approximately a million isopods in there. There’s no routine watering schedule, but I do fill the bottom ~ .25” with water from my planted aquariums when it evaporates. It also gets a weekly pinch of fish food to keep the isopods from ransacking my plants (they devoured an orchid in there before I learned that lesson)

This is beautiful! Do you remember the name of the tank and light by any chance?

A slam dunk.
Tripartita has become my favorite terrarmium plant in recent months for this exact reason.

This is more than acceptable. It’s great to share what you’ve done with the world and we of course love to see it on here!
