This is a road just outside my city. What a great way to treat the Earth.

Protect this by Keeping counties and states from dramatically shifting land uses (Rural Residential/Rural Ag – seen here vs. high density sprawl) under their comprehensive plan and planning committees.

  2. I don’t know how you can have that much property and not a million trees on it wtf.

That’s wild. I’m assuming all the dirt is where people destroyed the native plants and planted grass before the drought? It’s so interesting seeing the juxtaposition of green on the other side of the road.

  4. I don’t think there’s enough attention on the fact that a house here has a runway. It makes me wonder just how big these houses are

The Street View actually looks amazing!

I think this is a case of them only irrigating their lawns, while the rest of the meadow grass dies out, which I’m sure they then mow for wildfire mitigation, thus turning their surroundings into a dead, grey wasteland.

Fun fact, you can just buy seed mixes and go fuck up someone’s property. They’d never even know some angel just scattered native wildflower seeds all over
