You served me well bentgrass nursery, but now your flat surface must make way for the seasonal pool. I shall eat hog dogs and drink beer from a floatie in remembrance of you 🫡

No amount of grass eye candy can replace the memories.

Lucky dog. I wanted one of these but my HOA forbids fun. Enjoy!

Put some type of gravel & sand base otherwise the grass and mud under the pool will get squishy under your feet.

do you have a dog? just curious how those pools hold up on top of grass with sharp paws

I did the same, but completely broke it down and stored the pool each fall. It was then perfect timing to do a fall seeding of the area.

It wasn’t perfect, but the the entire lawn was available and green for many months (zone 10b) until it was hot enough to swim again.

Despite the toll on our lawn, I wouldn’t trade the good times had in the pool for anything!

    Enjoy 🙂

Once summer starts winding down you can just fill it with dirt and seed for a nice terrace.
