I bought this from an online seller. It was labeled as an adansonii (but I knew it clearly was not). Seller corrected himself and said it was an Albo. But now that I have it, I’m questioning it 🤔 Help please!

The last slide has my Thai con leaf on the bottom (for ref) and the color is creamy vs white to me.

  1. To me it looks to be a Thai, albos tend to have very blocky variegation, and this one has the little “constellations” throughout the leaves instead of the blocks of green and white. Did you get upcharged for albo price? 😬

albo. thai have these small white specks all over, pretty sure that’s the “constellation” part. albo have distinctly more “strips or stripes” of white and often the white is really quite white whereas on a thai it is a very light cream

just saw the last photo after reading comments and it is a beautiful examples of how very different they are!

eta: tbh can i save this post and link it for ppl confused about the difference in appearance? the last photo is just so excellent at making it very clear!!
