Here’s a terrarium I made today
Hydroleca clay pellets (drainage layer)
Mesh barrier
Bonsai potting mix with dried sphagnum moss
Unknown dead tree stump wood
Bark + ordinary moss
Pink leaved fittonia
Quartz crystal
+ Bonus woodlouse that was living in the wood

Camera phone? Play with moving further away and zooming in. Playing with lighting is a good idea, too. For example, keeping light sources behind the terrarium will avoid reflected glare. You’re off to a good start!

There are UV filtering lenses you can buy pretty cheaply that kill the glare beautifully. They go over your phone or camera lens

Lighting is key. You’re taking photos in a dim room with 1 to 2 light sources that create a harsh glare.

Try moving it to a room with big bright windows so the whole area is well lit. Move the camera down a bit when taking a photo like pic 1. Remove any clutter in the background, (unless it’s intentional artistic clutter).

    Good luck 📸
