The brown part of the leaves is most likely a stress color in response to the amount of light it is receiving. The plumpness of the leaves show it is sufficiently watered, imo.

Did you receive it recently? It looks like it stretched a bit and is now receiving stronger light, which is giving it that stress color and encouraging newer leaves to grow more compact
