  1. Hi I love your big garden beautiful I don’t know how to keep my lavender alive every time I buy one dies by way I have brought in past only 3 don’t have any luck with how do you keep yours alive big healthy beautiful?😊

  2. I'm excited to see what do you figure out to put in that space in between the lavender and the boxwood that narrow rectangular space. No matter what I know it's going to be beautiful with the formal garden. How formal will it be? Black tie formal?

  3. Hi Laura. Love, love, love watching you every morning. Your vision to your property truly amazes me. Even after gardening over 50 years myself, I still learn from you.
I was wondering what is going on with the audio lately? The volume keeps going up and down the past few videos. I think it’s when you are turning your head a certain way (or your beautiful hair is covering the mic).

  4. Daily – Watching your amazing energy in developing this vast garden – all the way from Kuala Lumpur here. Love it 💯❤️

  5. I would use 2 kneeling pads for a project like that…just move one ahead and crawl to that one instead of up and down!! Of course, i would never be able to get up after doing all that😮

  6. Going to be beautiful! I wanted to yell at the tv to you and Paul to please use two kneeling pads, one after the other! Makes weeding/planting so much easier as you can just go from one to the other without getting up or having to scoot! Thanks for all your inspiration ❤

  7. That is going to look absolutely amazing. I only have one question. I was under the impression that lavender doesn’t like much water that seems like it’s going to be more water than the lavender want. Please let me know because I struggle with water and my lavender’s in my yard and I have found that if I just don’t water them at all. They grab water from the surrounding plants when they want it. I can’t wait to fast forward six months to see this amazing display.

  8. So glad you planted lavender in the formal garden! I love my 6 lavender bushes in our small back yard. Last summer my 8 year old granddaughter harvested a HUGE baggie of the flowers as she was so enamored of the fragrance! Love the formality and how you are so patient at planning out this space. ❤

  9. I see Paul used the cape cod weeder. I just ordered one yesterday after seeing Laura use it to get rid of weeds between the bricks.

  10. Would love to know the retail value of all the annuals this year.😅 I also keep forgetting the quarants are made up of 4 quadrants. 😅😅

  11. That’s going to be so beautiful!! I have lots of 4” lavender plants from cuttings I took late winter. Haven’t planted them yet because it’s been soooo wet and soggy here in the southeast! We’ve got to work on some drainage for in ground planting first, before putting these cute little lavender plants in. I have some mature lavender thriving, but they are planted on a much drier hillside.

  12. Those little lavender are so cute!! I’m not sure if I caught what zone they are? But I would sure love to plant some! 💜

  13. After you get the lavender and all the flowers around the trees, planted, you need to leave the rest of the beds blank. Filling up every spot will just take away the formality of that whole space. Just an option to think about.

  14. Laura, awesome planting of Lavender ! That was a HUGE Job, but it will be such an unreal amount of color pop !!
I think it is a beautiful plant also.

  15. I know you made mention to it but wondered if you wouldn't enjoy a tree behind the benches in the formal area for shade while you enjoy your garden….my opinion only but seems like a great idea

  16. It’s going to look so pretty once the lavender fills out, and it’s going to smell amazing.😊

  17. I was not looking forward to a boring online work task I had to do and this was the perfect distraction! Beautiful lavender plantings. Last month, I purchased two flats of sweet woodruff plugs online. I hadn’t known that was a thing! Perfect for my fence line, way more cost effective, and so easy to plant with my auger!!! Thanks for sharing so many diverse ways to garden.!😊

  18. It's all so neat and tidy and will be beautiful! I was surprised that you tied the drip in with the Boxwood! Don't they have different water needs?

  19. I remember you planting the lavender in front of the raised bed garden, how time flies!!! This is going to look perfect in the formal garden. What a lot of work initially but it's going to pay off big time when they fill in and bloom❤

  20. Beautiful lavender hedge!
I’m curious what determines you using half inch tubing compared to quarter inch tubing around the boxwoods?😊

  21. I’m so happy you installed the lavender hedge in the formal flower garden. I’ve always loved the one by the raised bed garden. It’s going to be stunning!

  22. Wow what an undertaking of planting! It cibtinues yo amaze me how you uou just dive in to a project. It will be absolutely beautiful in the future!💜 I can wait to see this Romance Lavendar come alive with color. Is it possible for regular customer to purchase these small plugs?💚

  23. Question: my lavender and my grasses are looking kinda crummy with the old growth showing up to 3 feet high-i didn’t cut them back enough in the beginning of Spring. Will i kill the plant if i cut them back now? they have about 2 feet of new growth now.
    tia. xx

  24. I love the lavender you are precise in planting I didn’t realize you were planting them on the boarder so much better how you did it. With 400 I thought each square was all going to be lavender. More room for other plants good job.
