Bought these “Firefly Petunias” and finally thought to bring them into a truly dark area to bring out their glow. It’s super visible and impressive in real life, even with some ambient light! Such a cool plant.
I remember seeing the prototypes and when they were first making their way to shelves and people being very disapointed with the incredibly lackluster results because the tech and breeding was still in it’s early days, so glad to see they Finally managed it and now have consumers able to get amazing results like this.

As a biologist I get my shorts in a bunch with all the “nonGMO” labeling on practically all foods. It’s not Frankenstein ffs.
