BRICK — A southbound motor vehicle fire on the Garden State Parkway, just south of Exit 91B-A, at the Chambers Bridge Road interchange, is causing heavy delays.
A plume of thick black smoke could be seen rising over stopped traffic at this hour. The right lane was blocked, according to traffic information from state authorities.
The incident took place about 3:25 p.m. Tuesday.
