several months ago we transformed Peggy’s garden and it looked amazing now things have 
taken a drastic turn peggy’s neighbors reached out to us and let us know that Peggy’s been 
in hospital for a few months now and she’s finally returned home from January I think to 
the end of February but then when I come out I couldn’t I couldn’t walk well you know the 
the walking just got worse cuz my legs were all swollen up as you can see things have 
got out of control again and I just feel awful one thing we didn’t do last time was treat 
this with weed killer as we thought it was going to be consistently mowed and keep the weeds at bay 
we was helping Jim at the same time last year and this garden we treated with weed killer and as 
you can see the weeds were kept at bay and we now have a lush grass i’ve been punishing myself 
for not checking in but end of the day I’ve got my own business i edit my own videos and obviously 
I want to spend time with my own family i’m not Superman and I can’t be everywhere at once we 
found Peggy a gardener to maintain the garden i’m going to pay for this until the end of 
the year so we can take the stress off of   Peggy and keep it maintained and looking 
lovely for her, Liam’s nipping in grab a little cheeky fridge freezer with my new gloves 
it’s time to stop waffling and let’s get cracking that hurt that’s it up the other way so it don’t leak or How you doing Derek he’s having a kip he’s 
asleep is he he’s had hard day today has he   yeah done a lot today done a lot today well 
you two have a good day i will i’m leaving now. how you doing so I’ve got Liam with me and 
my cousin Ashley helping me out yeah another family member um we just took the fridge freezer 
away i’m assuming you don’t want it, oh lovely it no I was going to take this chair away as 
well is that all right yeah yeah please liam’s going to kindly do that for me it’s all gone 
you’ve been in hospital for how many months i don’t Oh it it seemed like bloody six months 
but it was um several weeks at the beginning of the year january February that’s sure yeah i 
couldn’t get my breath i can’t today no so they took me into hospital and then since I came 
home um haven’t been able to walk can’t get into bed no cuz my legs won’t bend and then they 
all started oh yeah they started bleeding bless you got them all bandaged up must have like so 
many new visitors now didn’t you from all the different carers and stuff oh god the other day 
I I wondered how many more people were coming in gone from no one to everyone today I’ve got 
a mixture of people helping me and yes another family member Ashley good morning to uh sort a 
garden out make it look a lot nicer help someone out as well he’s taller than you he is he’s a 
lot taller than me he won’t be so the thing we sort of do on this channel to is it induct induct 
you into the channel you have to run and jump into it really? right if we go in front of that GM 
GM van should still use the path at the minute it is nesting season here in the UK so just have 
a quick check round before we do any cutting make sure there wasn’t any nests lurking here 
unlikely but it’s always worth checking i know this is going to be a deja vu for returning 
viewers, i can’t get it off cheers Ash, there you go mate bit of deja vu for returning viewers 
we’re going to back going to do it all again peggy’s had a new fridge delivered so dad’s in 
there quickly just changing what way the door goes Yeah all go [Music] how’d that go? yep sorted doors facing the right 
way doors facing the right way back in the L yeah back in the cupboard happy days bye Dad have 
fun at Jims. any questions? what do I do again right that is the hedge dealt with so me 
and Ash are thinking we’ve got the lawn   mower we’ll just go over it straight away 
and see if that can handle it um this one was Lress they sent us out recently actually 
it’s quite snazzy so yeah let’s get it going do you know what i’ve actually think I’ve only 
used the lawn mower like three times in my life so, about to be 4 Yep so we got min max speed what 
else Jazz have we got power test button so 80% battery so we push this 
button in I believe and then away we go what I like about the Kress 
lawn mower here is you pop this up and the bag comes straight up 
in between it’s quite a cool design normally they’re quite fiddly and 
you can’t get them through the middle, well that’s my hay fever set off another bag drop already just after one run did she have a brown bin? hope so probably 
should check that first otherwise why would I get in here did she have a brown bin 
mate note to self check for a brown bin first think we’re going to need a bigger bin that’s all right for quarter of this garden bag number four that’s what I want you to do, sort of. no I won’t lay on the floor
just had my hair done very nice the floor yeah all right Ash we’ve done the first 
bit and the bin’s full not bad going there we go gain some room yeah much better yeah come do site inspection not 
good enough do it again sorry sir bit late anyone call for backup bit late ladybug save the ladybug he flew away just started to rain, great it’s a dead poisonous one isn’t 
it, find out in a minute, his eyes Make it a little bit easier to walk out the front 
Oh yeah but you know the other night I slept walked oh right and I walked down the road walked down 
the path right crossed over the road and walked further down the road really yeah and then when 
I came back Yeah i don’t have I stopped to the lamp post and grabbed hold of that and then I 
was yelling for all my might, help help and this was half 11 at night and it was Mandy next 
door she was just going to bed and she had to get dressed oh boy and come out and the guy a couple 
of doors away helped you in as well he his dog woke him up and I woke the dog up woke the dog up 
yeah i’m vicious circle at least you’re all right and they brought me back but I don’t know how 
I managed to walk i mean I only had these these boot booty things on and walk down the path in all 
those bambles and I never hurt myself i never fell over yeah well at least if you sleep walk this 
time you’ll be able to see where you’re going bless you it was weird yeah is that the 
first time no I’ve never done it before oh wow first time for everything isn’t it 
yeah now and then I forgot to ask you when you finished can you get that rotary dryer 
out for me yeah yeah yeah cool thank you all the glory. it smells nice when grass is cut 
it does do you think you finish it tonight oh we’ll finish it tonight won’t we lads all 
right yeah we’ll get there going to finish it tonight my bit looks all right what did he say? doing a great job what a shift yeah, what a day, what a shift, what 
a big shift that was we’re not finished we’ve got a bit of tidying up to tomorrow but 
that’s the last you’re going to see of   Ash thank you for helping me out i’m going to 
put his very welcome YouTube channel in the description want to give him a follow it’d 
be greatly appreciated would be thank you   anyway thank you very much let’s go get 
some dinner let’s go and get some dinner i will do it liam we get it 
you just stand there want a hand? that was actually decent that’s a decent one that Everyone has seen the box they know the box this is what was in the box liam’s kindly come and 
picked up the garden waste we’ve got pretty much all grass cutings three ton bag worth and some 
brambles now you’re always saying why don’t I get a chipper come this way now I haven’t used this 
thing I think for a year since it’s shredded my phone if you look on the corner of the chipper 
I stupidly left my phone there while sending a message, well if you want to see what a 
shredded iPhone looks like, none of you have let me forget that thank you 
so this is the tiny pile from the   hedge that we’ve got i’m going 
to put this through the chipper and there we go a bag of salad a smaller bag of salad one two three just coming to get you you all right you doing 
yeah all finished now now we um we managed to get some put them in for you they’re I don’t 
know oh they always got, be a nice surprise when it comes out won’t it yeah they say like per 
perennials perennials perennials yes um yeah but just give ones here as well few little ones 
and then it can just give you when you’re ready to get back out in the garden you can do it 
yourself but for now we’ll have a bit of color   and Oh thank you so what I was going to do um 
I’m going to source a local gardener i’ve got one in mind and he’s really friendly and I’m I’m 
going to pay him till the end of the year to do   your garden oh that’s very kind of you that’s 
all right i want to keep it looking yeah all good lovely luckily you’ve already got a brown 
bin so can go in there can’t it yeah well I paid for it last year with the intention of sort of 
doing the garden i’m assuming you didn’t expect   to get on this un well if you know what I mean 
when you got the bin i think I’ve used it twice oh we’ve That was the first time I had been 
out since January, really you was asleep didn’t even know okay no problem thanks a lot you’re You’re more 
than welcome Peggy you’re more than welcome this   whole scenario has got me thinking so I want 
to try and set up a charity where the people I help I can then just keep on going with the 
maintenance whether it’s sort of cutting the grass um can be doing stuff inside yeah and just sort of 
keep it on going for a bit just to get them back   on their feet either you having people around 
trusting others and stuff like that so I think that’s something we’re going to do well good 
looking into it now and then obviously going to   sort Peggy out with um a local gardener and pay 
for that for the rest of the year and just keep on top of it can stay nice for her and it’s just 
one less thing on her mind and hopefully get back get her back out here see you later Peggy now 
what can I say half a million wafflers now in this community it’s absolutely insane i’m going 
to sound like a broken record but thank you so much for being a part of this channel and helping 
us help others and thank you for your patience we have so much in the pipeline should we go a sneak 
peek at Jims so we’re back at Jim’s i’m not going to spin you around obviously we’ve been building 
this mega episode and things are going so well i cannot wait to show you and look how tanned Jim is 
looking he’s been out on his decking didn’t you yeah it’s been great um the boys working hard as usual 
i don’t have to tell you that um and everything’s coming together now it’s worth the wait more than 
well worth the wait are you enjoying the garden ?  oh yes been out and you can see if you look at 
me I’m getting a bit of a tan now but this is all down to all your lovely subscribers without 
them this wouldn’t have happened for me and Jean and I know I keep saying thank you but it’s not 
enough i don’t know how to thank you uh enough words ain’t enough but I’ll give you all me love 
when did you get that tattoo there and what does   it what does it stand for tattoo there was when um 
when they diagnosed me with terminal cancer um his son took me to the tourist so you can see PMA PMA 
positive mental attitude and as you can see he’s always positive always going always helping 
always caring for everyone yeah and I think that’s got got you where you are today isn’t it 
just it’s been Keep me going just give me another   lease of life yeah I’ve got I’m working towards 
something now and I’ve found met new friends i mean the people that write into your program 
your your uh thing I can’t meet them personally but I’ve got the biggest family in the world yeah 
and they’ve missed you and not only that they are how can I say that they’re super lovely human 
being all of them i’d like to give them all a hug but I can’t. it’s half a million now oh yeah 
half a million wafflers so oh well you’ll be there while, the family has got even bigger then don’t worry 
about all that old waffling get the kettle on i’ll get the kettle on, thank you for watching and I’ll see you all soon

    Just want to be transparent with the channel, I didn't know Peggy was in Hospital.. was feeling down.. but so glad to see her again and get it back on track, the gardens now going to be treated and covering a garden to do this for the year. Next stop trying to start a charity to look after those who can't do it themselves. As you can see Jim has missed you all and his episode is getting bigger and bigger!     Sadly, I agree with most. You can’t go re-doing lawns every few months. After your makeover, it’s then up to the homeowner to carry on.

    It’s a delicate subject but, at some point in our lives, I think we have to accept we need to move out of a property we can’t maintain anymore.

    Especially in this housing climate where people are desperate for properties for their own families. As harsh as it is, maybe Peggy should move out into a more manageable property and allow the next generation to enjoy a property with a garden. Someone who has the time and energy to look after it.

    I always wondered how the people you helped over time are getting on. Sadly it might be a case of popping back to all of them at some point. It’s sad that the gardens are the size they as it’s just too much for Peggy. Great idea about setting up a charity. Maybe even look at setting up a volunteer help group xx

    I don't really understand how some pp live. I worked for 2 days cleaning the a garden for a young family. They had tile on half the garden then stairs and more trees, a broken shed, everything covered in dog poop. And they had small kids. He didn't even want to pressure wash the tiles which were absolutely horrendous looking some pieces missing. Their house inside also looks like homeless pp just decided to come in and use it as a toilet. He worked in an office had a nnanny. And all these old people have horrible kids. I guess it will be worse now considering what kind of pp live in uk now, drug addicts, every house smells like weed and wee, so no surprise i guess that some end up looking like this.

    Je suis une nettoyeuse extrĂȘme, franchement je ne comprends pas que certains de vos abonnĂ©s ne comprennent pas, qu'on puisse ĂȘtre dĂ©pressif !!! L'Ă©tat de votre appartement est effectivement cracra mais honnĂȘtement y a pire. Être dĂ©pressif c'est trĂšs grave pour certaines personnes, plus envie ni la possibilitĂ© de faire quoi que se soit ! Bref, pour dĂ©coller les taches de pĂątĂ© applique des serpillĂšres bien humidifiĂ©es (Ă  l'eau chaude c'est mieux) dessus quelques minutes ça les ramolira et donc plus besoin de frotter 😉

    Ben, you need to look after yourself first, along with your own family.
    Its great that you are helping these people FOR FREE. However, no matter what their story is, its 100% up to THEM to keep their gardens tidy when you leave. Its not your responsibility, its up to that individual and their family. Please never beat yourself over something like this. You're doing more than enough FOR FREE. It's time people start putting theirnhands in their pockets and paying others for the upkeep now. They can't expect free handouts every single time.
