Just sharing the joy of 2 house finches that set up residence in my hanging fern. She laid a total of 5 eggs. I've been able to water it a few times, and the babies just hatched the other day! Our building is scheduled to be power washed this week but I informed management that this is a federally protected species, so they said they will skip our unit. Fingers crossed they have a successful fledge in a few weeks. So far the fern seems fine.
