4 hours of sun a day as requested, plenty of water when the soil is dry. But Texas sun is brutal and I’m so scared I burned her and she’s a goner

    She looks like she might be toast, sorry about that. You can try to pinch the foliage and if it crumbles its been dead a while

    To be 100% sure you can do the scratch test by taking a knife and lightly scraping bark off a small portion of the trunk, if its green then its still alive inside, but usually junipers will begin to die long before they show signs of distress

    Last test is the root check, but after everyone’s advice there’s a shot in hell it’s root rot but doubtful

  5. If you go to bend a branch and it snaps right off, it’s dead.
